Overview
TextPipe forwards incoming SMS messages from your Android device to a Telegram chat through TextPipe's hosted Cloudflare Worker. Hosted Telegram forwarding is a paid subscription, USD 1 per month, billed through Stripe. Self-hosted/direct delivery and email forwarding are not offered yet; this policy does not describe them as available services.
How Hosted Forwarding Works
You pair your device with the TextPipe Telegram bot: message the bot to receive a one-time pairing PIN, then enter that PIN in the App. The App authenticates to the Worker with a per-device credential on every request. When an SMS arrives, the App sends its sender, body, timestamp, and SIM label to the Worker, which relays the message to the Telegram Bot API on your behalf. The Telegram bot token used to do this is kept in the Worker's own configuration and is not shipped in the Android app.

Hosted Subscription and Billing
Hosted Telegram forwarding costs USD 1 per month, billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. Stripe may give us a customer identifier, subscription identifier, billing status, current period end, and cancellation state so the Worker can grant or revoke forwarding access. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe processes payment details under its own terms.
Third-Party Services
- Telegram Bot API receives the message text TextPipe forwards to your chat.
- Cloudflare runs the Worker that processes forwarding requests and hosts this website.
- Neon provides the PostgreSQL database the Worker uses for device, routing, and delivery-log data.
- Stripe processes the hosted subscription payment and customer self-service.
Those providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties beyond what this policy describes.
Not Currently Offered
Self-hosted/direct Telegram delivery (running your own Worker and bot) and email forwarding are not available in this release. If either is offered later, this policy will be updated before it becomes available.

Your Choices
- Revoke a paired device from the App to stop it from forwarding; this does not by itself delete the delivery log described above.
- Revoke Android permissions to disable SMS access or notifications.
- Cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's Customer Portal.
- Uninstall the App to stop forwarding from that device and remove its local application data.
- Contact us using the details below to request deletion of your account, device, and delivery-log data.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above.
